The modern high-efficiency agricultural industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Tai’an, home to 320 leading enterprises above the designated size. Tai’an, reputed as “a fertile land since ancient civilization—the must place for Qilu (Shandong)”, is an important grain & oil seeds, fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry, organic green food and nuisance free produces production base, whose distinctive forest fruits, nursery stock flowers and dairy farming rank among tops in Shandong.  Tai’an has 320 large-sized leading agricultural enterprises, and 76 provincial standard agricultural bases. Its Xintai Rural Industrial Integrtaion Development Pilot Park, “Liangxin Valley” Industrial Ecological Pilot Park, Huimei Agriculture-Husbantry “Baihe Garden” and other national and provincial industrial parks are taking shape, and Mengniu Dairy, Wens, Ecolovo, Lioho, Beijing Nltown and Guangdong Lingnan and the like famous leading agricultural enterprises are also successively settling down in Tai’an. Next, we will speed up our construction of national and provincial modern agricultural parks and modern agricultural pilots, securing grain and oilseeds production, strengthening the organic vegetable and ecological dairy industries, Taishan tea, nursery stock and the like ten advantageous industries, promoting the first, second and third industries’ in-depth integration and development, and building up a group of distinctive and diversified full-industrial chain pilot zones, to make Tai’an a great model of prosperous rural area in Shandong.
